Hey, welcome to my page! My name is Christophe and I am a wedding photographer based in La Jolla. I have been a travel photographer since 2010 and decided to expand my creativity to bow ties and white dresses in 2015 here in California! I was born and raised in Paris, France and am still trying to get rid of that stupid French accent. La Jolla has so much to offer, between the coast and La Jolla Village, I am very familiar with all the wedding venues and breathtaking spots to take beautiful photos. La Jolla Woman’s Club, La Valencia Hotel, Darlington House, The Wedding Bowl (Cuvier Park), Scripps Seaside Forum, Martin Johnson House, … you name it! I have shot over 300 weddings and won multiple awards from magazines and wedding directories.
I describe my style more like a journalistic kind of coverage and most of my shots are candid. Don't get me wrong! When I need you guys to pose, I am going to ask you to pose but this will represent only about 10% of the day. I’ll tell you where to put your hands, where to look, and will guide you through the process by making you smile rather than ASKING you to smile. The last thing I want is that you guys feel like you are on a photo shoot. My process is very smooth and I often exceed expectations!

What is a reasonable price for a wedding photographer?
Based on my 10+ years of experience and the number of weddings that I have shot in La Jolla, my pricing ranges from $2095 to $3595 depending on the hours of coverage and if you need an engagement session.
How many hours do you need for a wedding photographer?
For a small celebration, 4 hours is enough for the photographer but a typical wedding day will need 7 hours. I usually stay 30min into dancing, which is more than enough time to get plenty of photos of everyone who will be hitting the dance floor that night! Just to give you an idea of how many photos you will receive, I will deliver about 100 clean edited photos per hour of coverage.
